Financial Support for RWU

“A privately owned world can never be a free world, and a society based upon warring classes cannot stand.”

Eugene V Debs, Founder of the American Railway Union

Many ways to support our mission

  • Donate

You can assist RWU with our day-do-day operations and help pay our expenses including postage, web and email hosting, printing, packaging, buttons, stickers, posters, banners, flags, materials, staff, etc. Your donation to RWU is NOT tax-deductible. To make a tax-deductible donation, please donate to our tax-exempt sister organization RWF - HERE

  • Gift Stocks or Mutual Funds

Make a big impact by donating long-term appreciated securities — including stock, bonds, and mutual funds — directly to our 501(c)(3) sister organization Railroad Workers Education and Legal Defense Foundation. Compared with donating cash, by selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.

  • Bequesting Estate

Are you planning for the future? Have you considered leaving a lasting impact? At Railroad Workers United, we are perpetually looking ahead and making strategic decisions that ensure the sustainability of a robust rank & file railroad worker movement. Now, you have the opportunity to be a part of our journey.

  • Become a Sustainer

Consider becoming an RWU SUSTAINER. All it takes is for you to donate a small amount each month to RWU. Prefer to become a monthly sustainer without going through PayPal? Click HERE.

Or you can make your contribution tax deductible by making it to our 501c3 tax-exempt sister entity - Railroad Workers Education & Legal Defense Foundation (RWF) - HERE

  • Alternatives to PayPal

We understand that some folks may not want to go through PayPal and prefer automated bank transfers, or prefer to use a credit card. We have you covered.
Follow the link below for alternative option to become a Sustaining member either by donating to RWU or RWF.
